Remap or Multimap, Whats right for you?
Looking to get more out of your Toyota? Whether you’re chasing extra torque for towing or dynamic control for every terrain, Just Autos offers two powerful tuning options: a performance-driven Remap or a versatile Multi‑Map setup. Here’s what you need to know to choose the right one.

What is an ECU remap?
ECU Remapping (also known as reflashing) is the process of modifying your engine’s stock software to unlock more power, torque, and efficiency. By fine‑tuning boost pressure, fuel delivery, ignition timing, and throttle mapping, our technicians safely release untapped engine potential.
You can expect gains of 20–30 % more power and torque, with sharper throttle response, reduced turbo lag, and smoother performance.
What Is Multi‑Mapping?
Multi‑Mapping takes the concept further by installing multiple custom maps on your ECU — accessible via your existing cruise control stalk, with other control options also available to suit your preference.
For example, your 300 Series can access up to six tailor-made maps:
Stock+
Immobiliser (engine starts but won’t move)
Idle‑Up / Winch Mode (higher idle for winching or charging)
Tow Mode (enhanced low‑end torque and engine braking)
Power
Power+ (performance driving with launch control)
Multimapping is all about flexibility — switch maps on the fly for different conditions or driving needs.

⚙️ Multi‑Mapping Is Ideal If You:
Frequently switch between tasks (e.g. towing, off‑roading)
Want versatile maps for differing terrains or loads
Value being able to change engine behaviour on the fly
Already run performance hardware and need multiple map profiles

It depends on your warranty provider — discuss with us and your dealer. We’re happy to help minimise risks
Will remapping damage my engine?
Not when done professionally. Every map is curated to stay within safe parameters based on manufacturer and performance testin
Can I do it myself?
DIY ECU remaps exist, but they’re risky. We recommend expert tuning experience and dyno-verified software
